Ah, well, good luck! (Stick with Mr. Ripley.)
Are you really reading fifteen books right now? Do you have magic powers or is that a beside reading pile?
Noticed you liked The Glass Castle, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a dysfunctional family and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to learn a little more about the book before you commit:

Go White Sox! Go Ozzie! ;-)
Congrats on the new job! I hope you have some kick-ass coworkers--I think people underestimate how important that is. Even a crappy job is made bearable when you like the people you slave away with.

School is rolling right along, thanks for asking. Next week is report cards ... Progress reports were great because all I had to to was print out computer files, but the report cards are on these ancient carbon paper cards. Yuck.

FYI: I recently found out I prefer Raymond Chandler to Dashiell Hammett (I see you own The Big Sleep; these are important distinctions to make of one's self.

Go Sox!
You tossed a CueCat? Oh no!
