About meI work as a freelance writer and have broad ranging interests and curiosities. I am a voracious reader and always feel there are more books than time available. I am very interested in 'first books' by emerging writers and also love 'the classics'.

Favourite authors include: Jane Austen, George Eliot, Carson McCullers, Richard Russo, Miriam Toews, Flannery O'Connor, Harper Lee, John Steinbeck, Lori Lansens and Tom Robbins.

I also love reading non-fiction and have enjoyed books such as Freakonomics, A Year of Living Biblically, The Tipping Point and Reading Like a Writer.

I liked Chris Coppola's new book too and foresee great things for it. A guy I wouldn't mind meeting. - Tim
Sound interesting...I'll try it...reminds me of Gentlemen and Players by Joanne Harris. Read it?

Thanks for the review,

Hey JoJo!
What did you think of Fall. I saw a quick description and thought it looked like the most interesting of the bunch. It is Giller isn't it? My brain sometimes catches things and sometimes misses them. I think it caught this time though.
